Desktop - Inbox

In addition to viewing requests and messages through the Dashboard, admins can also utilize their Inbox to review these items.

Requests

Located towards the bottom of the left side menu, users can access Requests by clicking on the following icon:

  • Admin can manage all pending requests from this section, with options to approve, deny, or postpone them as needed

  • Previous requests can be reviewed by selecting 'Approved' or 'Denied' to see who approved or denied each request

  • If a time-off request falls on a day when the maximum number of employees are already scheduled off, the request can be added to a waitlist. These requests are marked with a '!' icon, allowing admins to quickly identify them

    • By selecting the '!', administrators can view the waitlist associated with these requests

Messages

Located towards the bottom of the left side menu, users can access Messages by clicking on the following icon and then navigating to the Messages tab.

Messages allow you to view all messages sent, including those by others, as well as compose new messages

  • Compose a message:

    • Click the '+ Compose' button located in the top-right corner

    • From the 'General' dropdown menu, select your message type: General, To-do, EMS, Training

    • Click 'To' and choose your recipients: Individual users, all Stationwise users, specific shifts, specific work groups

      • Note: Work groups must be created in the Employees page to appear here

    • Enter a subject line for your message

    • Compose your message, including any lists or external links as needed

    • Click 'Send' to deliver your message

  • Cancel a message:

    • Click the '...' in the top-right corner of the message card or next to the 'General' dropdown menu within the message itself

    • Select 'Cancel Message' from the options

    • Add a note if desired

    • Click 'Cancel Message' to confirm

  • Filter messages:

    • To filter messages, select the desired message type: General, To-Do, EMS, or Training

    • You can also use the search bar to find specific words or phrases within the messages
